April Sizemore is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Bachelors of Science from Lubbock Christian University and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. April is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies.
April has provided counseling services in a variety of settings, including college counseling centers, juvenile correctional facilities, pain management clinics, behavioral health intensive outpatient and substance abuse aftercare programs.
April’s areas of special interest include relapse prevention and addictions. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
April approaches treatment from a client-centered, systemic perspective emphasizing all aspects of the person, including the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual.
