Scheduling an Intake.
Counseling Appointments
Turning Point Counseling has 11 licensed therapists who provide counseling services. Please navigate to the Therapist tab to read more about our therapists and their areas of practice and insurance accepted.
To request an appointment for counseling:
1) From the Therapist's page, select the therapist you are interested in seeing, and click the white button below their profile. The button will say "Request an Appointment" for therapists with current openings, or "Join the Waitlist" for therapists with a wait time.
2) You will be directed to our Therapy Appointment patient portal. Choose the blue "Register" button to register as a new client.
3) Complete the demographic information requested by Therapy Appointment, including insurance information. You may also add a card on file if you choose.
4) Complete the Waiting List Questionnaire, which details your reasons for seeking counseling and any scheduling limitations.
5) Your registration is complete! If your therapist has current openings, you can expect to hear from our office shortly. If your therapist has a waiting list, you can expect to hear from our office when that therapist has availability.
6) Want to request an appointment with more than one therapist, or the soonest available? Repeat the above steps for the therapists you are interested in, or email reception@turningptcounseling.com for assistance.

Psychological Testing Appointments
Turning Point Counseling has a licensed psychologist and licensed psychological associate who provide psychological testing services.
To request an appointment for testing:
1) From the Therapists page, click the white "Join the Waitlist" button below Dr. Roger Russell's profile.
2) You will be directed to our Therapy Appointment patient portal. Choose the blue "Register" button to register as a new client.
3) Complete the demographic information requested by Therapy Appointment, including insurance information. You may also add a card on file if you choose.
4) Complete the Testing Waiting List Questionnaire, which details your reasons for seeking testing and any scheduling limitations.
5) Your registration is complete! You can expect to hear from our office when Dr. Russell or Terri Russell have availability.
